So I have slacked off. But that will not happen again (at least not until school starts) for there are only 7 days left of school!!! Here is a little of everything from the past few months…

My sister Katie recently (4 weeks ago) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, MeKenzie Nicole Murphy. She is so cute! Her older sister Mekailey is such a big helper.
The weekend before we all got sick, was one of the first nice weekends we had had. Ethan has been asking all winter when can we go to the zoo? I told him when it was Spring, no snow and warmer outside. Well, that time fianlly arrived.
We all had a blast and the boys were SUPER good!! I think they loved it all. Ethan is already asking when we can go again.
EASTER, so I am a little late. We had the opportunity of spending Easter with a lot of wonderful people in our lives. First we got together with Fairbanks and Boswells. We always have a great time with them and Adam made some yummy chimichangas!!
Next, was a luncheon with Stoney’s family and then a gathering at my folks. It was all wonderful!
Ya, this blogging thing had not happened in a LONG time. But here is why: three weeks ago Ethan got pink eye and an ear infection. Then Jackson got croup and an ear infection. Stoney and I had really bad colds, then my cold turned into the flu, which then came back positive as SWINE FLU!!!! How in the _______ I got it, no clue. I sure didn’t get any vacation or cruise to Mexico out of it!
The swine flu knocked me out. I was bed ridden for several days. It took the Dept. of Health 6 days to get back to me. By the time I found out I was already back to work. I hadn’t been contagious for several days, but the fact that it took so long is irritating. We were then told the boys and Stoney had to isolate themselves for another four days!! We were all sick for about three weeks. And unfortunately I still had a very sore throat. It is lingering!
What I learned: the news played Swine Flu up, and if there is a massive break-out our country is not prepared.
I am just so grateful the boys nor Stoney caught it. It was tough, but I can proudly say I SURVIVED THE SWINE FLU!!
