    Jackson 15 month

We recently had Jackson’s 15 month check up and I am ecstatic to report the little guy has gained weight!!  Three months ago he was 17 lbs and 9 oz (that is in the 1%!!). He gained four pounds!!!  He is still little; but myself, Stoney and the dr were very pleased with his growth spurt.  He does not fit in nine month clothes anymore.  If you can’t tell I am so happy.

At fifteen months he has learned how to say no, up, more, many animal noises, and he can point out where his eyes, nose, mouth, and toes are. He is Ethan’s shadow and a toddler!!!!

    Brotherly Love

Jackson has officially learned to stand up for himself against Ethan.  The result…

Ethan was laying on the floor and Jackosn threw a book at him.  Brotherly love.  What else can I say?

    Christmas

We had a great holiday season filled with joy, family, and food.  We were grateful enough to spend Christmas with everyone on both sides of the family.  Christmas Eve we had Grandpa Beckstead, and Uncle Jim and Aunt Crystal over.  On Christmas Day we spent it with us, my family , and Stoney’s mom.  We were definitely busy, but had a great time.

    Grandma’s Piano

The weekend before Christmas Stoney, my dad, and brother (Kris) went to Hazelton, Idaho to get my mom’s piano.  When we moved here in 1991 the piano had to stay, because there was no room in the uhaul.  After 17 years she finally has it.  It was a HUGE surprise.  She had absolutely no idea we ha set this up.  The look on her face when she saw it was priceless.  It brought tears to many eyes.

I remember her playing it when I was young, and she plays as well today as she did then.  I know it is a great stress relief for her and I was so delighted for her to finally have her piano.
