Christmas Family Picture

We have a problem… and want your opinion. This is the first year Santa needs to set gifts out for the children. But the Santas around here don’t exactly agree on how it should be done.
Santa M (aka me) believes Santa brings you ONE main gift. It is left unwrapped and possibly set up under the tree. That way it is the first thing you see Christmas morning.
Santa S (aka Stoney) believes Santa brings you several gifts, all wrapped. This way it is a surprise to what Santa brings.
Neither of us are willing to budge. So who ever gets the most votes, wins! Let us know what you think and if you have any ideas please share.
Every Saturday after Thanksgiving we have a tradition of cutting down our own Christmas tree. We have done it every year we’ve been married and we love it. There are years when we are trecking through snow, it feels like it is 40 below, and Stoney gets the truck stuck in snow drifts that I wonder “why would anyone in their right mind, be doing this?” But then we find the perfect tree. And I love it all over again.
This year we went to Heber/Kamas area to get our tree. The boys loved playing in the snow and enjoyed helping find the perfect tree. This year the truck got stuck pretty bad. For those of you who don’t know Stoney has a tendancy to keep going…farther and farther into DEEP snow. We have had many incidents when we have relied on others (mainly Dale and Nicole:) to dig us out. This year, if it wasn’t for another vehicle that came up the road and assisted in pushing the truck out, I don’t know what we would have done.
