    Provo Temple

For family night we decided to take a drive to the Provo Temple.  It was wonderful.  We told Ethan about it earlier in the day and he was so excited to go the “tepl”.  Stoney told him that is where Jesus lives and we can feel his Spirit there.  So now he wants to go to Jesus house, the joys of a two year old. We tired explaining other things to him, but he was just interested in the water fountains.  We are so grateful to be so close to so many temples.  I know we take it for granted all the time.  It was a great family night.

We were over at our friends Dale and Nicole’s,  when Nicole captured the “first kiss”.  Ella is about six weeks younger then Jackson.  They are sooo cute together.  We love these pictures.

    MEMORIES…

    1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

    2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Our Fourth of July family picture.

I started a garden this year.  I was so proud of myself. I got fertilizer, rakes, shovel, the plants, the energy to plant a garden.  Everything got planted in the backyard only to find three days later it was GONE.  All my miniature tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, carrot plants GONE.  After some investigation we have cut worms in our bakcyard, they ate my plants.  I was devastated.  There goes that hope and energy.  I had a few tomato plants left and decided to plant them in the front yard, that was several weeks ago and yesterday look what I found… my first tomato.  After looking closely between the three plants I have about ten tomatoes so far.  It finally worked.  I am so happy.  Who knew something so small would bring me such great joy.

This morning we had dr appointments, yea!  I like going to the well care check ups to see how much the boys have grown.  To no surprise Ethan tops the charts again,  weighing 33 pounds (95% ) and 35 inches tall (55%).  The dr jokes around saying if he continues to grow like this he will easily be over six feet by puberty.  YIKES.  That is a lot of food (and money).  Then my little Jackson, weighs 16.3 pounds (2%, at least he is on the charts) and is 27 inches long (12%).  I feed this guy all the time.  He is so little, it is a good thing he’s got a BIG brother.  They are perfectly healthy and growing.  Oh, the sad part of course was the shots for both boys.  Ethan had the hardest time, but when I picked him up he saw the band aid life was great.
