Don’t chew on the twisty tie

A recent conversation with Ethan, just a few days after he had swallowed a penny!

Me: “Ethan don’t chew on the twisty tie, you could get hurt”

E: “Am I going to die?!”

M: “No, but you could get hurt and we would probably have to take you to the hospital.”

E: completely frantic and crying, “I don’t want to die, mom! I have to get baptized first and then I can die”

I love him. He has his priorities set out. It also reminds me of our recent family scripture study. We have been reading in 3 Nephi where it talks about the Gadianton robbers, Nephi, and praying to the Lord for help. I DO KNOW Ethan is paying attention. For when he takes his turn to “read” (he makes up his own thing) he talks about Christs coming, war, the robbers needing to be nice and praying for help. It is times like these that I think I am on the right track to raising some good boys.

Logan and Tyson’s 4 Month Picutres and Check Up

At the beginning of July I had their pictures taken at Jcpenney’s. With all the boys when they turn 4 months I get their pics taken. They turned out really cute. Within the last couple of weeks the tow are looking more different and thier personalities are coming out!! Logan is my smiles, he will smile all the time. He is also the one who does not know what sleep is. It takes me some time to get him down at night. Tyson loves to talk to you and watch your mouth move. They both are pros at blowing bubbles and playing peek a boo. In the pictures Logan is in blue and Tyson is in red. In the one with shirts off, Ty is on the bottom.

At their check up, the dr was very concerned with their little weight gain. They went form being in the 30 percentile to the .01 percent:( He told me i need to start supplementing. I didn’t want to, but that night I gave them formula, 6 ounces, they sucked it right down and slept all night long!!!!!! I have come to the sad realization that I don’t have sad, difficult. colicy babies, just hungry ones. I have felt awful!! They get a formula every night and sleep great. I hope when we go back to the dr’s next week they will have put some weight on.

Babies Blessing’s and Ethan Birthday

We decided to do the twin’s blessing and Ethan’s birthday all on the same day. We figured why have family drive down on two separate occasions when these special events are so close to one another? It worked out pretty well all because of the INCREDIBLE help I recieve from friends and family. We did it on a Saturday at our home and had lots of people we love surrounding us. It was amazing for Stoney to bless TWO babies in one day:) So many helped during the blessing. Aunt Crystal helped getting babies ready for their debut and assisted Jackson outside during a blessing- he chose to have a wonderful tantrum. When I was telling Stoney about this he said Crystal took care of Jackson so quickly and quietly he didn’t even recognize the semi-chaos:) So many also helped at the picnic we had. Form taking pictures for me, to organizing the gift giving, assisting with food prep. Everyone one that was there helped and that is what made it a successful day.

Happy 4th Birthday Ethan Stone!! Ethan loves anything Superhero related. He can always put a smile on our faces. He is also getting so big!!! He succeeds at anythign he does, very good at basketball, soccer, tree climbing, baseball, and pestering his brothers:)
